Missing Grants Pass woman found dead
From the Mid-Willamette Valley Statesman Journal:
GRANTS PASS — Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 92-year-old woman who was reported missing on Aug. 6 has been found dead.
Deputies responded to a call form two persons who were riding ATV’s near Pleasant Creek Road and found Margaret Ella Riley deceased in a vehicle in the ditch along side the road.
At this time investigators do not suspect any crime has occurred as it appears Riley died of natural causes.
The vehicle was on Pleasant Creek Road about seven miles past the end of road maintenance area. It appeared that her vehicle became stuck in a small ditch and Riley was unable dislodge it.
